Alec Baldwin has donated $$1 million (£637,000) to the
New York Philharmonic. The
Rock of Ages actor is the host of the institution's radio program, and also a member of its board of directors. According to The New York Times, Baldwin has gifted a portion of his fees from his Capital One advertising campaign to the symphony orchestra.
