An American art dealer (Miguel Sandoval), who specializes in southwestern topaz, arrives by train in Liverpool. Similarly, a very proper British art dealer (Alex Cox), who specializes in African art, arrives in the same hotel. The two meet in the hotel's abandoned restaurant and decide to set off in finding an evening meal, which becomes problematic immediately when the Brit reveals he is vegetarian. While following their pursuit of a mutually acceptable meal, the main point of the film is their discourse en route to their various attempts at an eatery.

The boy refuses to implicate her. 40 years later, the boy, who became a printing shop owner, is visited by a retired policeman from Amagi Pass. The truth then started to reveal itself ...

An urban contemporary film about adultery, murder and betrayal in the film noir style. A simple story to which the director imparts a feeling of unrest and disquiet, catching the city in its various moods. The film breaks generic conventions, notably in the presentation of the private detective through his deglamourised life and his process of discovery of 'who did it'. It is not constructed through his point of view at all. In fact the policeman and the detective, the fact finders, are in the dark about the crime, to the very end.

Scruffy but irresistibly attractive Yau Muk-yan, without a job or a place to live, moves in with sensitive, shy piano tuner Chan Kar-fu. Both are disturbed, then obsessed, by the amateurish piano playing of upstairs neighbour Mok Man-yee. Obsession turns to romance, and romance to fantasy. The film is structured in four "movements": two themes (Yau Muk-yan, Mok Man-yee), a duet (Yau Muk-yan & Mok Man-yee), and a set of variations (a wild fantasy of Chan Kar-fu in his new novel).

Jesse Borrego and members of the Latin Hip-Hop crew DarkRoom Familia star in this hard-edged story of life in the barrio. Crooked, Sir Dyno and Drew are three friends from a Hispanic ghetto where crime runs rampant and life is cheap. Someone is murdering many of their friends from the neighborhood; they realize they can't fight the killers all by themselves, so they recruit a local "veterano" for help. Directors Jose Quiroz and Ed Quiroz also helmed DarkRoom Familia's previous direct-to-video release Penitentiary Chances.

The lone Aztec survivor of the massacre is a young Indian scribe named Topiltzin [Damián Delgado]. Topiltzin, who is the illegitimate son of the Aztec Emperor Moctezuma, survives the onslaught by burying himself under a stack of bodies. As if awakening from a dream, the young man rises from among the dead to find his mother murdered, the Spanish in power and the dawn of a new era in his native land. A New World with new leaders, language, customs... and God. Representing the New Order is the Spanish Friar Diego [José Carlos Rodríguez]. His mission is to convert the "savage" natives into civilised Christians; to replace their human sacrifices and feathered deities with public Christenings and fealty to the Blessed Virgin Mary. With Topiltzin, Friar Diego faces his most difficult spiritual and personal challenge, for when Topiltzin is captured by Spanish troops and presented to Cortés [Iñaki Aierra], the Spanish Conqueror places Topiltzin's conversion under Friar Diego's care. Old world confronts the New as Topiltzin struggles to preserve his own beliefs, whilst Friar Diego attempts to impose his own. Moreover, all the while, the question remains: Who is converting whom?

A serial killer is loose in Hong Kong, murdering hostesses from high class night clubs. As punishment for their flaky style and lack of discipline, two young policewomen are assigned to work undercover as hostesses to catch the sadist. While solving that crime, they discover who's behind some of the city's drug trade. In trying to halt this enterprise, which they undertake without orders, they must face the crime lord's Japanese hitwoman.
