Duckie has had an edge on relationship with the entertainment industry for most of his life. During his early years it was never a very serious relationship, mostly getting fill in roles based more upon enthusiasm rather then skill or knowledge. After receiving encouragement from a director he greatly respected, David Clevinger, as well as from his very driven wife, Shiva Rodriguez, he began to apply himself more towards several different forms of entertainment. His experiences working with David revealed that he had a genuine instinct for directing, and with his wife's help he began to explore that aspect. Duckie and his wife began Siren Productions as a vehicle for allowing themselves and other creative people to express themselves. Unfortunately for Duckie and Shiva, they discovered that creative people were often more willing to sit back and be discovered rather then work through the process of creation. Over time, Duckie and his wife found themselves taking on more and more roles and learning more and more about everything from lighting, set design, photography, writing, and even the acting process through their many and varied projects associated with Siren Productions. What started out with simple photography grew into stage plays, performance art, dance, musicals, and now video. Duckie still has had no formal training in any of these fields, but he has several works in progress and is still learning more as he goes on.
