While fighting an intense inter-galactic war, a mecha pilot was accidentally warped into a space-time neither he nor the computer of his mecha could recognize. After waking up from a long-time hibernation, he found himself trapped on a planet, with human residents talking in an unknown form of language, using inferior technologies, and -- most shocking to him -- naturally breathable air.

A giant creature attacks Japan during the World Fair and its up to Gamera to stop it. But the monster injects Gamera with its offspring and a research team must take a craft into Gamera's body to eliminate the parasite.

John Carradine narrates five horror tales, each with a comically predictable surprise ending. In the first, "The Witches Clock" (sic), The Farrells have purchased an old mansion in Salem Massachusetts, and are warned by the town doctor, Finchley, of the history of witches in the community, and the old clock which they brought up from the attic. Then an old man named Tristram Halbin comes for a visit. The second story, "King of the Vampires" deals with a slight-figured killer, called the King of the Vampires by Scotland Yard, which sends Brenner to investigate. The third, "Monster Raid," is about a man turned zombie when he OD's on his experimental drug, who returns to avenge his death at the hands of his widow and her lover-now husband. "Spark of Life" deals with a doctor Mendell obsessed with the experiments of a thrown-out professor named Erich von Frankenstein, and two of his students who try to restore a cadaver to life. "Count Alucard" (called "Alucard" by Carradine and "Dracula: on the end credits, is a variation on the Dracula story, with the Count acquiring the deed to Carfax Abbey from Harker, as vampiresses and dead bodies start turning up. It, too, has a surprise ending unrelated to Stoker.

The film depicts a runaway star on a collision course with Earth in the then-future decade of the 1980s. Even though it's smaller than Earth, with a mass over 6,000 times bigger than Earth, it will destroy the planet if it smashes into the planet. Now, as massive earthquakes and tsunamis crush Tokyo and kill millions, and as volcanic eruptions devastate entire areas around the globe, the people of planet Earth have to find a way to move the earth out of orbit before the star smashes it. Unlike most other impact event stories, in which mankind must abandon the Earth (When Worlds Collide) or destroy the threat (Deep Impact, Armageddon), Gorath sees humanity attempt to avert disaster by disengaging Earth from its own orbit around the Sun. While the American When Worlds Collide can be seen as an influence on the story of Gorath, Daiei's 1956 film, Warning from Space, in which a planet is on a collision course with Earth, may have been a more direct inspiration.

For years, Seatopia, the undersea civilization, has been heavily affected by nuclear testing conducted by the surface nations of the world. Upset by this, they plan to unleash their civilization's god, Megalon, to the surface to destroy the world out of vengeance. On the surface, an inventor named Goro Ibuki, his kid brother Rokuro and their friend Hiroshi Jinkawa are off on an outing near a lake when Seatopia makes itself known to the Earth by drying up the lake the trio was relaxing nearby and using it as a base of operation (unknown to our heroes.) As they return home they are ambushed by agents of Seatopia who are trying to steal Jet Jaguar, a humanoid robot under construction by the trio of inventors. However the Agents's first attempt is botched and they are forced to flee to safety.

Endless warfare and environmental pollution has resulted in dangerous giant monsters. The Earth Defense Force (EDF) is created to protect the planet. The organization is equipped with the best technology, weapons and soldiers, as well as mutants with special abilities. Godzilla, a giant mutant dinosaur, is EDF's only unstoppable opponent. The EDF's best combat vehicle, the Gotengo, manages to corner Godzilla at the South Pole and bury him under the Antarctic ice, freezing him. Decades after Godzilla is buried, the EDF discovers a mummified space monster. Mutant soldier Shinichi Ozaki and U.N. biologist Miyuki Otonashi are sent to research it. The Shobijin, fairies of the guardian monster Mothra, reveal that the monster is Gigan, an alien cyborg sent to destroy the Earth 12,000 years ago, and that a battle between good and evil will happen soon.

Kei Kurono (Kazunari Ninomiya) and Masaru Kato (Kenichi Matsuyama) are summoned by the mysterious black globe GANTZ. They continue the fight against extraterrestrial beings and, as they continue to battle, they become stronger. They can't escape unless they kill their enemy, the Saint. Kei Kurono opts to keep fighting to survive, but Masaru Kato hates the world which is controlled by violence and refuses to fight. As the two friends finds themselves opposing each other in a continuous game of violence, a critical last choice is to be made...

During World War II the passenger liner "Goliath" is sunk by a German submarine. Portions of the ship's hull remain airtight, and some of the passengers and crew survive. Over the decades they build a rigidly regulated society completely isolated from the surface world, until in contemporary times a diving team begins to explore the wreck.

A group of people from planet Zyrox stop for a picnic on a nearby planet, and dinosaurs tear them limb from limb.

Reb Halland, who lived in the era of Wild West, has made a deal with the devil to gain immortality along with his gang. Preacher McCready is trying to protect the small town by placing five totems around it in the shape of the pentacle. One day, a collector passes by the town and sees one of the totems pinned to the earth, and he decides to take it. When the man takes the totem out of ground, Halland and his gang arrives and starts killing everyone, then commit ritual suicide. The film moves to the present day when a group of college students, who are driving back home from another city after a debate contest, suddenly find themselves at this town. Soon, they start to be murdered one by one, and it will be up to them to find the secret of the town and destroy Halland and his gang.
