Jane Doe:The Wrong Face is one of several Hallmark Channel TV-movies starring Lea Thompson as Simi Valley housewife and mom Kathy Davis (Lea Thompson), who unbeknownst to her neighbors occasionally moonlights as an undercover special agent and "problem solver" for the NSA.

When a ruthless arms Kingpin stages an ingenious escape from prison, Jane Doe and Frank Darnell, NSA head, realize he's bent on a vengeance killin. Who the prospective victim is remains to be seen.

Biopic of J. Edgar Hoover told by Hoover as he recalls his career for a biography. Early in his career, Hoover fixated on Communists, anarchists and any other revolutionary taking action against the U.S. government. He slowly builds the agency's reputation, becoming the sole arbiter of who gets hired and fired. One of his hires is Clyde Tolson who is quickly promoted to Assistant Director and would be Hoover's confidant and companion for the rest of Hoover's life. Hoover's memories have him playing a greater role in the many high profile cases the FBI was involved in - the Lindbergh baby kidnapping, the arrest of bank robbers like John Dillinger - and also show him to be quite adept at manipulating the various politicians he's worked with over his career, thanks in large part to his secret files.

A woman and her lover, who has made a living by running sex scams at hotels, decide to enter the big time by kidnapping a computer company owner and demanding $4 million ransom. The two hire a tech wizard and a muscle man, who amuses himself by playing Russian roulette. Things go awry during the kidnapping when a neighbor is killed, who turns out to be the wife of a powerful senator. As things develop, it turns out that the murder may not have been as accidental as it originally appeared. Slowly things unveil to not to be everything that was originally thought.

To try and start a new life after just being released from prison (he was convicted of murder at a young age) but after some strings were pulled (without his knowledge) he is free after 12 years. But before he can start this new life the triad pulls him back in and wants him to commit another murder or face the consequences.

Jane Cleveland, behind with the rent, answers a strange advertisement in the paper and finds herself employed as a decoy for the visiting duchess of Ostravia,who fears that she may be the target of an assassination attempt. Jane impersonates the duchess when they attend a charity bazaar to auction jewellery but, following an assassination scare, the two women are whisked away and given drinks. Jane's is drugged and when she comes to she finds that she has been set up by a gang of jewel thieves. Fortunately her adoring male neighbour is a policeman who can prove her innocence.

A young woman believes that an actor committed the murder for which her brother has been imprisoned, and she gets her fiancé--a newspaper reporter--to accompany her in following the suspected killer aboard a ship headed for South America. While they're at sea, disaster strikes and the ship is sunk. The three of them, plus the actor's friend, are washed up on a deserted island. Complications ensue.

Top-lawyer Ron Trott runs his own, prestigious L.A. law firm, which offers first-rate criminal defense, charging top-dollar to the wealthy, guilty or innocent or civil party, or occasionally accepts a case for the publicity or for a friend. He has an elaborate team, mainly comprised of specialists, from detectives and ex-public prosecutor Luther Graves to various paralegals such as a specialist in jury-selection and psychology. However Trott has a bright right-hand, charming Tom Nicholson, who is likely to become at least as good a pleader, provided he can control one weakness Ron seems immune for: human feelings such as sympathy, sincere disgust or compassion can cloud the cool competitive killer-instinct to win at any cost to earn a king's ransom.
