Adrian Mole The Cappuccino Years

Adrian Mole (Stephen Mangan) is now a thirty-one-year old single parent working as an offal chef and trying to make his way in the world. He dreams of becoming a successful novelist. The love of his life, Pandora Braithwaite (Helen Baxendale), is standing as the Labour candidate for their home town in the 1997 General Election. Adrian's father George (Alun Armstrong) is as depressed and embittered as always and his mother Pauline (Alison Steadman) is still bored with life. The other main characters are Pandora's parents, Ivan (James Hazeldine) and Tania (Zoe Wanamaker). This programme is a sequel to The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole (1985) and The Growing Pains Of Adrian Mole (1987)

Soon she has grown to monstrous but shapely proportions, causing all sorts of complications, the most dangerous being Betty's jealousy of Angel's new-found attention. As the girls battle it out on Hollywood Blvd., Dr. Lindstrom races to find an antidote.

As If

Six London school kids are best friends. Gorgeous Alex is academically gifted, comes from a good home, has the fine taste of a classy gay boy and proves able to date good catches, including a cop who could have been the love of his life if he hadn't lied about being a minor. Jamie Collier is the clown of the pack, a hopeless optimist, bragger and unreliable, but he means well and tries hard to please. Robert 'Rob' Conway is the most serious one, coming from a broken home with an abusive father, and has to work as a waiter in the gang's favorite pub. Finally there are three neurotic girls they hang out with: pushy Nicki Sutton, hippie rebel Suzanne 'Sooz' Lee and spoiled colored Sasha Williams, as well as a long list of boy- and girlfriends who come and go, although some have definite long-term potential, such as Alex's gay cop friend Dan Parker who sadly can't risk being find out legally 'raping' a willing minor.

Azumanga daioh

Based on the four-panel comic strip that follows the lives of a group of high school students, this animated short features a compilation of comedic vignettes during a typical day in class. The girls compare their test results, child prodigy Chiyo demonstrates her inability to perform tongue-twisters. The stoic Sakaki broods over her earlier encounter with Kamineko, a cat which delights in biting her hand, and daydreamer Osaka imagines what would happen if Chiyo lost her pigtails.

A Little Snow Fairy Sugar

Season Fairies create and control the weather using special musical instruments. Sugar, an apprentice Snow Fairy, and her friends Salt and Pepper, all want to become full-fledged Season Fairies, and the only way to achieve this is to search for and find the "Twinkles" that will make their magical flowers bloom. Plus they are all dressed as women, with only a crash course from the queen. They reach their destination, rendezvous with their German contact, a lovely librarian, and start their search. They seemed doomed to fail; is this a fool's errand?
