Where the Red Fern Grows is the heartwarming and adventurous tale for all ages about a young boy and his quest for his own red-bone hound hunting dogs. Set in the Ozark Mountains during the Great Depression, Billy Coleman works hard and saves his earnings for 2 years to achieve his dream of buying two coonhound pups. He develops a new trust in God as he faces overwhelming challenges in adventure and tragedy roaming the river bottoms of Cherokee country with "Old Dan" and "Little Ann." The movie follows the inseparable trio as they romp relentlessly through the Ozarks, trying to tree the elusive "Ghost" raccoon. Their efforts prove victorious as they win the coveted gold cup in the annual coon-hunt contest, capture wily ghost coons and bravely fight a mountain lion. Through these adventures Billy realizes the meaning of true friendship, loyalty, integrity and heroics, in this timeless and poignant coming of age story.

When the dam in the town of Rutland starts to show signs of wear. David Powell, the architect who originally worked on the dam but was removed and who left town after he was black balled by Walker, the man who only cares about making a profit; returns. He insists that the dam be drained and inspected but Walker claims it would take too long and would be too costly. David goes to the dam and notices a few anomalies. He then tries to warn the deputy mayor who happens to be his estranged wife but out of anger she refuses to listen. Also David tries to reconnect with his son who resents his desertion.

Christine Dawson is a new, young and attractive high school teacher. Mrs. Dawson wants to help all of her students succeed including Josh Gaines, a troubled student from a dysfunctional family. In a thrilling story that mixes a love triangle with mob drama, RUN 2 U focuses on the lives of three troubled young people. Hiroshi, a club singer, finds himself in trouble with the Yakuza and decides to run to Korea, along with his friend Tsuyoshi. Upon their arrival, they meet alluring lounge singer Kyung. Hiroshi and Kyung's love of music draws them closer, but it also invokes tremendous jealously from Tsuyoshi. Eventually, the Yakuza closes in, leaving them to both save their lives and resolve their romantic feelings.
