This movie is about Melissa. She starts college a bit nervous, and scared of not fitting in. She gets invited to a party thrown by older students, and there she gets raped and humiliated. The rest of the movie is about her struggle to find some way to get back at the rapist.

Jimmy Muir is a hard-drinking brewery worker in the city of Sheffield, with an arrogant lack of respect for authority.
