Six 800-year-old skeletons have been discovered at a crusader castle in Jordan. This drama will be about the growth and sufferings of the heart surgeons who work in the thoracic surgery department. Lee Eun Sung graduated from a newly established medical school in the provinces. He applies for a job at the hospital and has high hopes of becoming a great doctor. Nam Hye Suk graduated at top of her medical school. She is an absolute fundamentalist but starts to show her humane side once she gets to know Eun Sung. The problem is Choi Kang Gook just became the new head of the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He believes that only doctors can save people's lives and is a genius but he is also a stubborn surgeon who does not care for hospital policies. Only Eun Sung and Hye Suk apply to work in his department. One day, a famous actor Lee Dong Gwon is admitted into the Hospital for arrhythmia surgery. He immediately falls for Hye Suk, who is his classmate from elementary school. He later gets jealous when he sees that Eun Sung and Hye Suk are getting closer to one another.

Soo-yeon is 26, unemployed and living with her parents. She is also frustrated that they oppose her dream of becoming a musician. She moves in with her friend Dong-ho, taking advantage of his crush on her. Small-time musician Hyeon offers Soo-yeon music lessons but seeks to get her into bed. After a series of failures, she decides to team up with Dong-ho to enter a rock competition.

Hye-jin's (Kim) homecoming should have been a joyous occassion. She was especially happy to see her childhood friend again, the shy Eun-ju (Ha). Seong-nam is a successful married painter of around forty years of age. He is now standing at the airport in Paris with a huge suitcase – for Seong-nam is on the run from a jail sentence in Korea because he was caught smoking marijuana, and drunk, at a casual get together. Seong-nam finds a place to stay at a rundown hostel in the 14th Arrondisse­ment; the hotel belongs to a Korean man. He spends his time wandering aimlessly about the streets of the city on the Seine, or meandering through the park – for there’s little else for him to do here. By chance he runs into his ex-girlfriend Min-sun, but the unexpected encounter leaves him cold. Sung-nam loves his wife and his thoughts are constantly with the woman he had to leave behind on her own in Korea. But then he meets Yu-jeong, a young Korean woman who is studying art in Paris and her flat-mate, Yu-jeong. Seong-nam falls head over heels in love in this pretty and mysterious young woman. He also falls in love with Paris.

Sumin is an orphan trying to balance work in a factory with study at art college and an evening job. One night a rich young businessman tries to proposition him during one of his driving jobs. They meet again the next day: it is during a round of redundancy cuts at the factory where Sumin refuses an attempt by a man (who is in fact the boss' son Jaemin) to save his job. Eventually Sumin is seduced into working as a male prostitute in an upmarket boy-brothel as Jaemin's obsession with him grows, leaving Jaemin helpless in the face of his overwhelming desire. This is a film of bold sexuality, where unexpected passion, desire and misunderstandings wreak havoc of an operatic intensity.
