Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian's (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin's empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. Lawyer KAM JO-JAN (Michael Tse) and Director of Public Prosecutions FONG TIN-LAM (Tavia Yeung) used to be cohabiting lovers, but ended up separating due to a failed marriage proposal. Fate has it when JO-JAN makes a job transition to take a position of Prosecutor, resulting in the two working under the same roof once again. With their distinctly different approaches in handling cases, plus the interference of a new secretary CHUK SHEUNG-YUET (Grace Wong), the already severe crisis in their relationship has been pushed to the edge to an unredeemable state. Tim Sir and the police force are in charge of solving murder cases. Siu Yau is the head of her department. Sam meets a young girl named Mon, who has been taking many wrong paths in her life and he is helping her to get her life back on track. Sam writes books about crime-solving and murder, which Mon enjoys very much. What Sam does not know is that Mon has strong feelings for him. Mon is jealous of Ding Ding because Sam is dating her. But one particular day, the police force is called to a very strange case. The murder victims have been killed in the same way the victims were in Sam's books! When the force begins to suspect Mon - they find her dead. Who is this strange serial killer and why are they killing people following Sam's books?

Forensic Heroes III (also known as FH3) is a 2011 Hong Kong police procedural television drama produced by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB). The drama is one of three grand TVB productions used to celebrate the channel's 44th anniversary, the other two being Super Snoops and Curse of the Royal Harem. It is also the third installment and reboot of the Forensic Heroes series, featuring new stories and characters. Mui Siu-ching, who also produced the original series, serves as the executive producer. The drama was a ratings success, and is Hong Kong's highest-rating serial drama of 2011.

Forensic Heroes II (Traditional Chinese: 法證先鋒II) is a TVB modern suspense series broadcast in May 2008 and the second installment of the Forensic Heroes series. The series is a direct sequel to 2006's Forensic Heroes (法證先鋒). The main cast features Bobby Au-Yeung, Frankie Lam, and Yoyo Mung from the original series and new cast including Kevin Cheng and Charmaine Sheh. Linda Chung also reprises her role into this sequel, however due to schedule conflicts with another project, she was written off early in the story.

During these adventures, Lee Boh Yee befriends Lai Yeuk Yee, a talented doctor, and Yip Mon Sik, a recent exile of the Flying Fish Clan, and together they uncover the secrets and develop a deeper understanding of the true politics behind the Black and White groups.
