Christine Dawson is a new, young and attractive high school teacher. Mrs. Dawson wants to help all of her students succeed including Josh Gaines, a troubled student from a dysfunctional family. Mrs. Dawson's concern is misinterpreted by Josh and he fantasizes that she is sexually attracted to him. Eventually, Josh acts on this fantasy and attacks Christine. When Christine reports this, the tables are turned when Josh accuses Christine of coming on to him. With her career and reputation in question Christine fights valiantly to prove that she was the victim of an assault.

A low-budget film producer begins shooting his next two epics, "I Rip Your Flesh With Pliers" and "Werewolves in Heat." What he doesn't know is that his sexy young wife wants him dead, and plans to use the films as a cover to do it.

Soon she guesses it must be the only rich philanthropist, but the popular Mr. John Martin Carter doesn't grant her an interview and isn't tricked either, in fact meets her at the worst repeatedly without her knowing him, until he arranges to be presented at the mayor's Christmas party, then invites her for dinner and proves a charming widower, yet denies being secret Santa, causing her boss to panic and explode. After more bad news and another red herring she is resigned to return defeated...

Jake Morgan is murdered on his first day as a cop. A year later, we return to his family and discover how each family member is reacting and recovering from their loss, with Jake as our narrator. His mother has resumed her dream of running for office, his dad is trying to rediscover his love of life, while his brother Max is trying to find himself. Jake's two younger sisters are trying to make sense of their lives without their brother. Still Life looks to be some great television.

A gunslinger arrives in a saloon and gathers information from the cowboy and the bartender already there, regarding the plastic surgeon Chaz Henderson. Little does she know, he's about to come through the door himself, leading to a showdown that the deranged surgeon had coming.
