'In Flags or Flitters - Pictures of Dublin' was made to celebrate Dublin's year as European City of Culture in 1991. The phrase "in flags or flitters" is taken from 'Finnegans Wake' by James Joyce, Dublin's greatest writer, and a rare recording of his voice is used in the film. It is made from archive footage shot in the thirty years between approximately 1960 until around 1990, now preserved in the collections of the Irish Film Archive/Irish Film Institute and RTE. The documentary, which is not chronological and has no narrator, deals with the look and the built environment of the city (and county) of Dublin as well as its influence on art and artists.

After young policewoman Gina Pulasky succeeds in handling a domestic fight particularly well, she's added to a small team of detectives assigned to a case of gruesome child killings. She proves herself to be a worthwhile reinforcement by tracking down the prime suspect, a disturbingly smart young man named Kyle Timler. Much to the horror of her team mate and lover Will McCaid, Pulasky goes undercover to infiltrate in Timler's life and trying to get as close to him as necessary to make him confess his crimes without even noticing it. A dangerous mission involving a process of growing identification with the killer, something that doesn't leave Pulasky unscathed.

Well eventually Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm decide to elope to Rock Vegas, so Fred and Barney head off to save them, while watching out for a gang of evil hoods. Well soon the wedding is on! And the Flintstones have invited their best friends Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera to join in.

Henry Adler lives in Ontario by himself, regularly visits his gruff and critical father, and works in a bank; he's also an actor. He finds new purpose in life when he's cast as a cop in a realistic TV show. He gets into the part, borrowing the uniform from wardrobe, and walking around the city streets. Soon he's talking to bank customers as if he's a cop; this gets him in trouble with his boss, but Henry doesn't care. He falls for one of the actresses, Charlie, and they practice together. Henry's quirks and his intensity creep her out, though, and she breaks off all contact. He's desolate. Things come to a head when one of LA's finest mistakes Henry for a real cop.

Frank Horrigan is a secret service agent who keeps thinking back to November 22, 1963, when, as a hand-picked agent by President Kennedy, he became one of the few agents to have lost a President to an assassin when Kennedy died. Now, former CIA assassin Mitch Leary is stalking the current President, who is running for re-election. Mitch has spent long hours studying Horrigan, and he taunts Horrigan, telling him of his plans to kill the President. Leary plans to kill the president because Leary feels betrayed by the government -- Leary was removed from the CIA, and the CIA is now trying to have him killed. After talking to Leary, Horrigan makes sure he is assigned to presidential protection duty, working with fellow secret service agent Lilly Raines. Horrigan has no intention of failing his President this time around, and he's more than willing to take a bullet. White House Chief of Staff Harry Sargent refuses to alter the President's itinerary, while Horrigan's boss, Secret Service Director Sam Campagna, is supportive of Horrigan. As the election gets closer, Horrigan begins to doubt his own abilities, especially when Horrigan's colleague Al D'Andrea is killed by Leary. But Horrigan may be the only one who can stop Leary.

She finds the perfect spot to build his dream house, and they get loans to finance it. When the recession hits, they stand to lose everything they own, so they go to Vegas to have one shot at winning the money they need. After losing at the tables, they are approached by a millionaire who offers them a million dollars for a night with the wife. Though the couple agrees that this is a way out of their financial dilemma, it threatens to destroy their relationship.
