A special in which illusionist David Copperfield attempts to fly independently through the air.

In 1991, the Fox television network aired a pilot for Two-Fisted Tales, a spin-off based on the 1950s EC action comics. When Fox passed on the pilot, Crypt Keeper segments were tacked onto the three stories (Yellow, Showdown, and King of the Road), and HBO ran them as Tales from the Crypt episodes.

Leon Bernstein is New York's best news photographer in 1942, equally at home with cops or crooks. The pictures are often of death and pain, but they are the ones the others wish they had got. Then glamorous Kay Levitz turns to him when the Mob seem to be muscling in on the club she owns due to some arrangement with her late husband. Bernstein, none too successful with women, agrees to help, saying there may be some good photos in it for him. In fact, he is falling in love with Kay.

13 year old Tony Johnson and computer wizard, is of falsely accused of setting fire to his school. He is sent to stay with his grandparents over Christmas. Tony's grandfather invents things. He has designed a game called "The Time Game". Bored with being the only kid in the area and alone for many hours of the day, Tony takes to peeping into things not meant for him. In his grandfather's laboratory he finds the "Time Game", which can summon a Time Machine. He rationalizes that his grandfather's long disappearances is due to the machine and decides to follow in his tracks. During a series of adventures in the 1860's in the Australian outback and going right up to present day Tony meets a poor English girl, Emily, who joins him in his travels. He also gets to rescue his grandfather, restore Emily's wealth and clear his own name of the false accusation. On Christmas morning, when Tony's parents have joined the celebrations, we get the impression from the connection between Tony and his grandfather that the time travels may not be quite over and done with.

In "Night of the Executioner," writer/director/star Paul Naschy offers us a lower-budget, bloodier remake of Death Wish, with Naschy playing a doctor celebrating his 50th birthday with his wife and daughter.

A submissive hooker goes about her trade, suffering abuse at the hands of Japanese salarymen and Yakuza types. She's unhappy about her work, and is apparently trying to find some sort of appeasement for the fact that her lover has married.

Tenchi Masaki is a normal high school student in Japan, who spends the summers doing chores around his grandfather's family shrine. One day, Tenchi manages to steal the key to a mysterious cave where an oni (Japanese demon) is said to have been sealed away by his ancester Yoshou, whose sword still stands guard over it. When he enters this cave, he finds that, much to his surprise, the legend is indeed true when the oni's dessicated skeletal form ("mira"--Japanese mummy) comes to life and attacks him. Tenchi flees the cave in a panic, and later returns to high school, taking the hilt--seemingly all that remains of the ancestral sword--with him. At school, Tenchi is again attacked by the oni, whose name is Ryouko, who has now completely revived herself. Tenchi manages to defeat her with the sword's help, but this is only the beginning of a hilarious Japanese romantic comedy OAV (Original Animation Video, the Japanese equivalent of American made-for-video movies) series which has spawned several spin-off OAVs, soundtrack and drama CDs, and a new TV series in Japan.

When teenage girl, Bella, is involved in a shipwreck off the Australian coast, she is saved by a beautiful black horse. Suffering from amnesia after her ordeal, Bella is cared for by the local doctor. As she tries to remember her past, she is haunted by visions of stolen gold.
