Attila

Scorning peace, Attila has popular Bleda murdered during a hunt, and persuades the hordes to march with him on the empire. While clueless, scared Valentinian can only mourn his pet cheetah, Aethius is rehabilitated by Galla Placidia to lead a desperate defense, but the neglected legions without serious fortifications are no match for the Hun hordes, who fear nothing, except perhaps the mysterious Christian god and his earthly representative, pope Leo...

During one of her parents many parties, Chloe learns they're bankrupt. She's being courted by Niko, a wealthy Greek American, so she decides to charm him. He's quickly captivated. That night, she also meets the masculine Galanos and sparks fly. Niko proposes, Chloe accepts, Galanos tries to change her mind. Her father wants to disclose their finances to Niko, her mother argues against it as a matter of dignity. The family's long-time servant must care for her son, who's had an accident. She's has not been paid in months, reminds Chloe to send money, and waits in her village as hospital bills mount. The servant comes back to Athens, confronts Chloe's mother, and a crisis ensues.

As Boys Grow

We meet Coach Gene Douglas and his track team of boys about 14 years old. He overhears them talking about the facts and myths of sexuality so he offers a couple of sessions of straight talk, answering their questions and giving an overview of puberty and the male and female reproductive systems. He's cheerful and direct, using simple drawings as illustrations; masturbation and wet dreams are natural, pregnancy is now possible. There are no jokes, no sniggers, no snide comments about girls. At the end, a couple of the boys have an informal swimming date with a couple of girls at what looks like San Francisco's Lake Merced.
